(no, i'm not going to talk about the black eyed peas' song(kinda))

well, this post is about social networks like facebook, i had this post in mind for 1 week and now i'm gonna post my thoughts.



the main reason i'm posting this is to tell my side of the story of "why do we use social webpages"; 4 days ago a friend of mine recommended me a webpage called formspring.me and she told me it was a great webpage to spent time(synonymous: waste my freaking time), basically the webpage is about doing questions to people that have also a formspring account and you can also seek friends linking it to facebook, twitter, blogger, worldpress and i think also myspace and posting the questions and answers in those webpages
now, i'm not going to say that i didn't like it because it was kinda cool, but why do i want to ask people i don't talk to random things?------why, i'll tell you why, because it's a waste of time, like, why do we use facebook or twitter?----- to gossip around and wasting time because you have lots of time to waste, but that is not something bad, if i have free time i can do that because i'm not hurting anyone; but sometimes people get too exited about the social networks and they lock themelves in the cyberspace, forgeting about their responsabilities and wasting time that you REALLY need, like for doing homework, studying, working and a whole lot more of things
if you ask me, that is an addiction and, it doesn't need to be stopped but it needs to be regulated right now, my friend that told me about that webpage is soo freaking addicted to facebook, she spends severeal hours surfing in that webpage, she gets in that webpage when she awakes and ends in 3am

i can say that i spend a whole lot more hours awake than her, i can wake up on 6am and sleep on 10am (as you can see more than 24 hours awake) and yes, it's kinda disturbing for my mom to be awake so long and she is right, it's not healthy but i'm not the one who failed 2 subjects, she failed math and physics, actually i got them with better grades the 2nd trimester

so are you a social-network-holic? because you really need to be separated of that computer, i'm not, just the right mount of time on social webpages..... well thats all for today cya guys...
